Saint-Damien is a municipality in the Matawinie regional county municipality in Quebec (Canada), located in the Lanaudière administrative region.
It is named in honor of Saint Damien.
The municipality was founded on September 6, 1870.
Saint-Damien is located west of the municipality of Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon, in the center of the Lanaudière region, 100 kilometers north of Montreal, 270 kilometers west of Quebec City and 90 kilometers south of the Réservoir Taureau. Its main street is simply called Rue Principale, and is served by Quebec Route 347, linked to Highway 40 to the south.
